About Me
No doubt many of you are probably wondering who I am, my real name, or are
even looking for a picture of me. Well, I don't really plan to put a picture
of myself on this webpage nor release any highly personal information here
because I still believe in being relatively anonymous on the internet. Don't
forget that there are a lot of sick people out there (that would account for
about 80% of the human race...*ahem*). Anyway, read on for some information
about me.

I've been interested in computer science, telephony, networking, and
technology for several years now. The desire to figure out the intricate
details of how things work is what first fueled my interest in these
fields. The realm of computer programming and networking is one of the few,
rare areas in life where you can actually do something and make it work
for you! If only real life were like that. I like Linux OS variants because of
the flexibility and stability. Although I'm not sold out to any one
particular operating system - I believe in using whatever gets the job done.
When it comes down to it, though, Linux does seem to be the most
dependable...if you know what you're doing!
When Sega announced the
price drop of Dreamcasts to $50, I decided I couldn't wait any longer and
immediately went out and bought one. Not only do most of the system's games
rival that of the Playstation 2 in terms of graphics, but they are fun,
something that most gaming companies seem to have forgotten about over the years.
And the possibilities of
emulating on this little machine are astounding. Right now I am quite content
playing Nintendo, Super Nintendo, Sega Master System, and Game Gear games all on
my Dreamcast. :-)
A waning interest of mine has been Asian culture. While I was studying a little
bit of various Asian languages (mostly Japanese), my motivation and appeal
to it dropped. Just need something to help motivate me to get back into it...
There are many more specific things I'm into, but you get the general idea...
What I dislike:

People who are shallow, cheap, hedonistic, or act like whores.
Any and all governments.

The use of drugs for the sole purpose of getting high or having a
good time.
The use of alcohol for the same reason.
Racists.
Large corporations who try to take away individuals' personal freedoms by having
such a domination over government.
Country and modern rap music.
Most pop music for that matter too.
Sporks.
Tatemae.
Shaving.
