Jean Michel Jarre

Jean Michel Jarre, French composer/musician, has been a pioneer of synthesized experimental and electronic music throughout Europe. Although fairly well-known in international music crowds, I happened to chance on him through Spinner.Com, a free music sampling program. Jean Michel's music has the impact and sweeping spirit of classical/romantic works, yet it is generally produced by synthesized instruments. I recommend listening to some of his live performance albums to really feel the power of his music.
