Myojo Ramen - "chicken bone"!
The package on the left is known as Myojo Ramen. The flavor of it is
directly translated as "chicken bone"! When I ate this package I was
taken back in awe. It was so much better than the instant ramen available
here in the United States. It tasted like it came from a restaurant and
was very delicious! If you ever run across any of this or befriend someone
in Japan, get as much Myojo as you possibly can.

Myojo Nama Udon Ramen
From what I could tell from the package, Myojo Nama Udon seems to be ramen
that was made under the company name of Myojo in Japan and imported to the
US through a specialized import company. I believe that I ate some of this
ramen during the summer of 1997. The noodles were of a different consistency
compared to most other ramen, and they were thicker too. In addition to the
noodles, several little pieces of freeze-dried bread/cracker things were
included in the package.

Sapporo Ichiban
According to the labelling, this ramen was made in the US, but printed in
Japan. So...close enough. As can be expected, this ramen tasted better than
most American brands.

Myojo Chukazanmai
This has noodles that are thicker and more of a ribbon texture than most
other ramen. The package contained a powder (bullion?) flavoring packet, an
oily soy sauce packet, and a small vinegar packet - making this some of the
best ramen I've ever eaten. It also was low in fat compared to other ramen
(4 grams unsaturated / 1 gram saturated), but high in sodium. Although this
is a Japanese noodle, it is imported from Singapore.
